FAQs

Companies in all industries are looking to streamline operations and reduce costs, and leveraging IoT is an effective way to do so. As the number of IoT applications and use cases grow, companies will encounter more challenges to deploy, manage and scale their end-to-end IoT infrastructure. Sensor Insights helps organizations simplify management of their IoT infrastructure and assures near-100% IoT data availability.

Sensor Insights works with three common enterprise protocols: Bluetooth (BLE), LoRaWAN and IO-Link*. Verizon has a library of sensors and certified gateways that can be purchased with Sensor Insights depending on your specific use case.

Sensor Insights’ management portal provides native cloud connectors (APIs) to stream IoT data to applications and analytics running on the cloud or on-premises.

Sensor Insights is a sensor management solution (vs. an IoT application) so it is designed to assure that the data collected by the sensors reaches the applications that will provide insights and analytics. Sensor Insights does provide a series of analytic tools that can help a user verify cellular connectivity strength, anomalies and troubleshoot the end to end IoT infrastructure at a glance.
